Dog Tax 2026

Please note that Dog Tax is now due. It is payable annually at a rate of £10.00 per dog. All existing dog licences expire annually on 31st December and must be renewed by 31st January.

Dog Tax can be paid as follows:

Alternatively, you can pay by person at the Douzaine office. We will be open from Tuesday 6 January at 4pm. Our normal working hours are:

Tuesday 1600-1900

Wednesday & Thursday 0900-1200

Tax is due for all dogs over the age of six months, the only exceptions being dogs kept solely by a deaf or disabled person for their hearing or guidance (e.g., guide dogs for the blind or hearing dogs for the deaf), in accordance with the Dog Licences Law, as amended.
